Αγγλικά ποιηματάκια για παιδιά. "Οι εποχές και παιδική ζωή."

Welcome

Welcome welcome

Welcome to our celebration

It’s our manifestation

It’s not a demonstration

Just a clarification

Of what is what.

Welcome welcome

Welcome to our crowd

Laugh out loud

Join in the songs and clap

As much as you can.

Welcome, welcome

Welcome to our celebration

Have no hesitation

Be a child in anticipation

It’s just a justification

That we still can have fun.

 THE SUMMER -THE BUCKETS.

A bucket can be full of flowers

A bucket can be full of water or oil

A bucket can be full of dolls or toys

A bucket can be full of sand and shells

A bucket can be full of grains or fruit

A bucket can be full of  hungry crabs.

We grab our little buckets and head to the beach

We are masters of the sea and sand

And we play under the Sun,

Till night falls and we see no more our kingdom and castles.

We swim and dive, we laugh and we sometimes cry.

We meet our friends and run on the sand

We fill our little buckets with tiny fish

And we make rings out of brown weeds.

I am a small kid, and life is a long way in front of me.

I find my way back home , and there in safety,

I Know where I belong.

My mum kisses me good night

And I know that I will sleep tight.

In my dreams , I live my summer day

I am an adventurous sailor, a brave lad,

Or a mermaid in a fair way land

And when a new day comes bright,

I leave that day behind, and the new one, awaits to be just fine.

WINTER

When the moon wants to cry, is it because a child

Loses his dreams of a better life.

He looks up in the dark sky

And sees no hope

In the deepest night.

His heart sinks in the wet meadows of despair

And  a sign of hope nowhere.

The the moon shines bright and cries,

Tears of gold and silver

Fall in the sea.

On the trees and their leaves

On the land and the people.

Its beauty reaches the child and fills his heart

-warmth from above-

His dreams no more bad dreams

And our world seems as a nice place to live.

Come moon take my sorrow

Come moon and tell me what you think

I am just a child who searches for tomorrow

I am just a person who needs to believe.

Come on moon and give me your light

A wreath of wisdom and good will

Let it there , in a corner of the sky

To show me that you exist.

WINTER

In winter /the main thing I have to do/ is to go to school/ do my homework . go to bed early/ and eat my food.

I like winter food / in fact / I am mad about stews. / They are tasty and so yummy / so put on some weight/ especially thanks / to my granny.

In Winter / I have always something to expect/ either it is Christmas – the Carnival- oe even visit some friends. /  I like Winter / with all this cold / the rain the hail the snow and the lot.

You see / I am out of home /most of the day / and I go to school / where I play.

As I said/ I always have something to do / my mum says  “ Do you need any help? “ or “ Haven’t you finished yet?” and rushes around my desk. /My teachers always want something more from me/ and I really want to please them all/ but I don’t seem to succeed.

Winter comes/ with wishes , presents, holidays and fun./ Winter is my favorite season –Don’t laugh!- I like winter as my hands are full/ I only wish , I had some more time/ to watch my favourite cartoon.

AUTUMN

Rainy days come again

With drops of rain on my forehead./ The wind plays music in the streets / and our mood really swings. / Rainy days / autumn comes and lies to me / of happy days and a bright sun/

Show me more of golden leaves / and I will show you back / some bare twigs. / Autumn plays tunes / of everlasting love /and writes songs of broken hearts.

Rainy days come again / with drops of rain on my forehead.

SPRING

When it is Spring

And the days are long/ look at the sky. / People gaze at a heavenly sea / where eager birds fry.

Bees buzz and flowers ask in wonder “ How come life begins without instructions in a folder?

When spring has set in / swallows come and fill our heart with joy.

This is a  time that everyone enjoy.

LIES LIES LIES

Lies lies lies

We tell lies and hide the truth / we say half  of  what we know / even if we are ready to explode. / We have to keep our mouth shut/ HOW ABOUT THAT- They speak about revolution / but it’s only an illusion / since they don’t tell the whole truth to voters in dissolution/ so, what’s the bottom line conclusion?

The pretend that they really care / but they only balance profits with their career / Everything runs smoothly/ as long as the job is done and money shared.

From the bottom to the top/ they see you and promise you the world. / You can’t see that’s a deception /but it’s a downright shitty situation.
